EYELASH EXTENSIONS Recently Vanessa did a course in Las Vegas in the art of applying eyelash extensions. It is the latest, most popular method of obtaining beautiful, natural looking, long eyelashes. The average person loses between 10 and 15 of their own lashes a day. This means that, similar to the natural cycle of your own eyelashes, the eyelash extensions are semi permanent and lasts between 3 to 6 weeks. As long as these lashes are touched up regularly (every 4 to 6 weeks), they can be considered to be pretty much permanent. Furthermore, because the lashes are already curly and black, no curling and mascara is required. This can reduce your time spent on your make-up regime in the mornings by up to 10 minutes. The main advantage of these lashes is that they feel and look totally natural and are completely water resistant. After keeping them dry for 12 hours, so that the glue can settle, you may swim, shower and sauna without any concerns that the lashes might come off. Oil free make-up remover is required THE PROCEDURE: It is a very comfortable and relaxing procedure. These lashes are individually attached to each of your own eyelashes with a special bonding agent. The extensions do not touch the eyelid itself, so no irritation is caused. Depending on the thickness, length and condition of your own lashes, the procedure can take anywhere from two-and-a-half hours to three hours during the first application.
