Anything that anyone ever created started with a single thought. A single thought is the origin of everything that is.
So is your self-image. You are the creator of your own self image. You have the power to change it and shape it whichever way you like. But it has to start with thought, with a goal, with a vivid picture.
We tend to be so focused on those things about ourselves that we do not like... it is easy to look in the mirror and point out your own flaws... but if those are all you see, if your imperfections are the only things you can see in the mirror, then how can you expect others not to see them?
In stead, you should be actively creating your own positive self-image by looking for the beauty in you, and you have to be clear in your mind about what it is you want others to see when they look at you.
Sometimes those very imperfections that you see, are the beauty of you... but because you view them as imperfections, that is exactly what you allow others to see.
Do yourself a favor right now. Before you continue reading, get a pen and paper ready. If you have some of those little index cards - those work very well, if not, any paper will do.

Now, take a couple of deep breaths and close your eyes. Let your imagination run wild and paint the picture of the perfect you, the person you like and respect, the person you want others to see when they look at you. The dormant magnificent, larger than life you. The way you would picture yourself up on a movie screen.
Be Specific!
Now take two minutes and do that - before you read further...
Done? Ok, now write down in as much detail as you can that image that you saw in your head.
Put that piece of paper in your pocket or on your mirror where you get ready for your day. Keeping it on your person is better - I want you to read that out loud to yourself at least once a day. The more times a day you can do that the better. If you can read it in front of a mirror, then that is even better.
But it is very important that you read it with emotion. Infuse those words - those thoughts of your ideal image - with excitement and enthusiasm. Read the words with joy in your heart - that is the key!
This will be your assignment for the next two weeks - that is all I ask of you. This is the first step, and very important step towards your new magnetic presence and unmistakable self-confidence.
Don't under estimate the power of one image, one thought. Your self-image is your own creation and a single thought is where it starts. The law of attraction is an amazing thing. You'll be amazed what might happen if you set the wheels in motion.
