This past weekend Garin and I took a wonderful trip to Seattle to attend a seminar there. Seattle is so beautiful this time of year with all the leaves turning different shades of yellow, red and orange.
The seminar we attended was presented by an amazing man - Mark Edgar Stephens. It was a wonderful experience and the topic was so closely related to the Pizzazz Factor. As a matter of fact it was directly in line with The Pizzazz Factor and had a lot to do with "The Law of Attraction"
As it is with everything, if we are open to it there is always more to learn and even if we are learning things we "already know", there is such magic in being reminded and rediscovering such an amazing message.
I want to highlight one point that was brought to my attention again and stood out for me at this event and it is something that I so strongly believe and try to live by.
It is so very important to take care of your self, because all the good things happen to you when you are feeling your best. And as long as you are feeling your very best then you have so much more to share with others.
Good Feelings attract Good things
You need to put yourself first... take care of yourself physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually, because once you have taken that time to be your best, then you have so much more to share and give back out to the world.
At the same time - if you are feeling good, and you are projecting that good feeling - then it is just natural that good things will come your way. Good people, good situations and more good feelings.
That is why in The Pizzazz Factor I show you how you can take action and regain your self-confidence and have a positive self-image so that you can feel your very best. I don't just tell you what to do, but I show you how to do it.
I show you how you can take charge of your posture and your body language, how to exude your inner radiance through your smile, eyes and demeanor with a positive attitude.
Your energy, your radiance and your inner self that shines outward is what makes you amazing and attractive and magnetic to others.
When you are feeling great; you feel good about your self, that is when you attract all the good things and the good people to you. It is natural to have ups and downs, but with the Pizzazz Factor I show you how you can get yourself into that upward spiral easily when you start to feel down or insecure.
You have the power!
Kind regards
Vanessa Bader
P.S. When you give away of yourself to others before you have taken care of yourself first, that is when you deplete your own energy and wellbeing to the point where you have nothing left to give. Keep nourishing your self-image and your self-confidence, your body, mind and spirit and you will be able to give so much more to your family, friends, colleagues and even strangers! http://www.PizzazzFactor.com
You Choose...
Tuesday, 14 October 2008
I am on my flight back from Honolulu right now. It was a wonderful few days and our shows went very well as usual.
Yesterday, after rehearsals we were having lunch with some friends on board the cruise ship that we were on. We sat chatting on the back deck for a few hours enjoying the beautiful Hawaii weather.
At one point we were discussing how fortunate we are and at the same time how often we hear and observe the passengers complain about so many things - the weather, the food, the music... the smallest little details sometimes.
We find that peculiar as these people are on vacation in beautiful Hawaii on a luxury cruise liner, yet a lot of them still make it their mission to find something to complain about.
Now I realize that you might be thinking: "But you are so fortunate to be traveling the world and doing what you love which is performing". And yes, indeed I am really very lucky.
But even this, like anything has its pros and cons and it is up to you to decide how you experience your life... no matter where it is you find yourself or what it is you are doing.
We too could sit and complain about the fact that we are away from home all the time and that we have to live out of suitcases majority of the time. We can't always eat what we feel like having because we are restricted to eating what ever is being served that day... we can't just get up and go wherever we want whenever we want... yada... yada... yada... I could go on and on. But - I don't even think about these things.
No matter what it is, there is always a positive and a negative side to everything. Are you living from a place of always wanting and needing more... or from a place of thankfulness?
Sitting there and talking about this made us realize that what makes us so fortunate - so lucky, is the fact that we realize how lucky we are.
A person that has Pizzazz sees the beauty and chooses to experience the positive. You are truly happy because you have the insight to notice how lucky you are. And when you feel that true joy in your heart, then you naturally spread joy and happiness.
What does it mean to be fortunate... to be lucky?
It means that you notice the finer details... you see the sun shine, you smell the freshness in the rain, you notice that child's smile, you see the flower bloom. You come out of your trance and you notice the glass half full in stead of half empty.
It is the little things that count
You have a choice, the choice to experience every day in one of two ways: Positive or Negative.
Make your choice today. Wake up and smell the roses, try to find the silver lining around that dark cloud... it is a habit - a choice... Your choice!
Kind regards
Vanessa Bader
P.S. With the The Pizzazz Factor I show you how you can wake up every morning and live your day more positively. You can go out and be the person that spreads the sunshine... that is what makes you magnetic and lovable. That is what gives you charisma from the inside out - true happiness and joy!
The Shape of Tomorrow
Sunday, 05 October 2008
Do you know that you have the power to be anything you want? You have the capacity to shape your tomorrow... Yes, the person you are today is a result of the life you have lived thus far.
All your everyday experiences get compounded day after day to create your self-image and your self-confidence. The tears and the laughter, the successes as well as the failures in your life is what shaped you as a person and it will continue to do so.
Do you know what that means? It is a wonderful thing... because that means that you have total control over the person you are going to be and the life you are going to live tomorrow and the next week and the next year...
No need to live in the past... all you need to do is look forward to your future.
If you look in the mirror and what you see right now is not exactly how you pictured it... well then smile, no need to feel sad or depressed because by changing your actions and your attitude and mindset today you can transform the person that you are and will be tomorrow. You have the power to do that!
You are constantly evolving and you can evolve into the confident and self secure, striking person you want to be - the only thing that is standing in your way is YOU!
But you can have that special something... you can have Pizzazz! You can be confident, charismatic, striking and unforgettable by doing a few simple things everyday. You can start that snowball effect of changing your life for the better. You can get the ball rolling on being an even better and happier version of you.
By becoming aware of your posture and your body language and by maintaining an overall positive attitude about the way you see yourself and the way others perceive you, you can transform yourself very quickly. By having the tools to guide you towards this new attitude, posture and mindset, you can get there with minimum amount of effort and maximum results. That is exactly what I give you with the Pizzazz Factor. See, you have to make it work for you both ways - from the inside out as well as the outside in, and you will see exactly how to do that.
It is amazing how confident you can suddenly feel when you feel good about the way you carry yourself. You will immediately notice that people react more positively towards you, and it is that positive feedback that you get from others because of your new demeanor, that gives you that self-confidence to tackle any social event, conversation, or meeting without any reservations. Even if you are feeling some amount of nerves or insecurities creep up, you will be able to use your newfound Pizzazz Factor to rise above them and finally get rid of them altogether.
You will see and feel instant results with The Pizzazz Factor.
"We are responsible for what we are, and whatever we wish ourselves to be, we have the power to make ourselves. If what we are now has been the result of our past actions, it certainly follows that whatever we wish to be in the future can be produced by our present actions' so we have to know how to act."- Swami Vivekananda (1863-1902)

What Pizzazz Actually means
Saturday, 27 September 2008
Pizzazz is defined in the dictionary as attractive style, energy and vitality. It can also be described as vigor and excitement.
Moods are contagious - energy and vitality is contagious. If you are feeling energetic and healthy, you have the ability to cheer everybody around you up and make them feel great too.
The Pizzazz Factor is about having that powerful presence that is infectious. I call it the art of Posture, Poise and Presence. The art of knowing what it is that makes you magnetic and interesting to other people.
The Pizzazz Factor is about feeling confident about yourself in any given situation, and the know-how to achieve that.
If you look at anyone who is powerful, successful or famous, I promise you it didn't come naturally - they all had to put some thought into their appearance and the way they present themselves. Now, when I talk about appearance, I don't only mean the clothes you are wearing or how white your teeth are, because that really has very little to do with "Pizzazz".
I take you step by step through the principals of the Pizzazz Factor. Once you know these principles and these concepts - you'll be able to walk into any situation feeling self-confident and knowing you look the best you can look and you are being the best YOU - the positive, magnetizing image of you.
Once your self-image improves - people will start commenting on how fantastic you look. Not because you changed anything about your appearance, but simply because you FEEL better about your own appearance. Once people start complimenting you and giving you positive feedback (and it will happen) it is inevitable that your self-confidence will improve. When your self-confidence improves, your self-image improves and this is a snowball effect that just keeps going and going.
All the applications in this DVD course are very practical. I talk to you about posture and I show you how you can evaluate your own posture and improve on that and how by improving your posture you are already making great changes in the way you look and feel.
Then I also give you some basic body language tips that will enhance any conversation or dealing with other people I show you how to walk, sit down and stand and project magnetizing presence while doing so.
I remind you to be self-aware, because simply by being self aware - not self conscious, you will be able to make all these things I teach you second nature. It'll all become habit so that after a short while you don't even have to think about it much anymore because it will be ingrained in your consciousness.
Traveling the world can be very exciting. Every day I meet people from all walks of life. Different nationalities, cultures and ages.
I have noticed a very interesting fact - Looking old, what ever age you pick is great part related to how you are able to move, or not move. A lot of people look quite a bit older than they actually are because of their inability to move freely and fully.
FEEL ENERGETIC AND YOUNG
When we don't move our bodies often enough and with full range of motion, the muscles and joints become unable to move the way they are suppose to. This can affect your posture and even cause some serious chronic pain in parts of your body.
A lot of people suffer from severe lower back or neck and shoulder pain. Sometimes even headaches can be caused by poor posture and limited range of motion.
These days our lifestyles do not require that we do so much manual labor as we use to. We also have the comfort of our cars and subways. No more walking or riding the bicycle to get where we are going. No more pushing the lawnmower or beating the eggs by hand.
Technology pretty much takes care of all that for us now, and besides, our lives have become so busy, who ever has time to do all that. But unfortunately this little fact has its disadvantages. We simply do not move our bodies enough anymore.
The Pizzazz Factor includes some very simple to do postural mobilization and stabilization exercises that are very easy and quick to do. You will be amazed at how something so simple can make such a huge difference to the way you feel. By doing just these few movements you will feel the tension dissipate and the pain (if you have any that is related to poor posture and limited motion) go away.
The great thing is that by regaining the ability to move more freely and comfortably you will immediately look and feel years younger.
Look around you and see who the people are who look way younger than they actually are. You might notice that it does not have so much to do with the clothes they are wearing or the lines on their face, but greatly about the way they are able to move.
So try to find ways to move your body. Go for that afternoon walk or take the stairs in stead of the elevator, get up from your computer every now and then and do your neck and shoulder rolls - but remember to use your pizzazz and do all that with good posture and charismatic energy.
Move your body and look younger instantly!
Kind Regards
Vanessa Bader

How to make a Memorable First Impression
Monday, 18 August 2008
Part of everyday life is meeting and communicating with other people. As human beings we are social creatures and being social requires having daily interaction with other humans.
Connecting with other people bring endless rewards. Whether it is winning the promotion, landing the job, making a sale, energizing your audience, impressing the new in-laws or making an unforgettable impression on a first date - if people like you, their channels are open and the connection is yours for the making.
Without even giving it a thought, we instinctively assess each other. The most crucial moments are those first few seconds in which you first meet someone. So you want to be able to make a great impression right away.
Positive and Confident Attitude
Here are three aspects that are going to play a huge part in the first impression someone else will get from you:
1) Your Presence - How you present yourself at first glance; what you look like and how you move
2) How you make people feel - Your level of Energy and Sincerity
3) Your Attitude - What you say, how you say it and how interesting you are.
By knowing how to make fast and meaningful connections with everyone you meet and know, you will vasty improve your relationships at work and even at home.

It all starts with your Posture, your Poise and your Body Language! When you have the Pizzazz Factor you have everything you need to make that Fantastic first impression that will make you memorable to others for many years to come!
Believe in Yourself
Wednesday, 13 August 2008
Doubts creep up on us so very easily. Whenever you are preparing for something important - maybe you are making the toast at your siblings wedding or your first public speaking engagement, maybe you have an exam coming up or an important job interview.
The first thing we do is wonder - "am I good enough", "will I be able to handle it", " Oh dear, can I shake the nerves and build up the courage?"
Don't worry, you are not alone, we all do that. We all are very quick to nurture our uncertainties, our fears and qualms. But don't you see - this is the wrong plan of action. Worrying is not going to help you - it is just going to make things worse. More worrying will create more angst and nerves.
Instead, you should try and shake it off... try to believe in yourself. Think for a moment about all the things that you are really good at, the stuff you feel really confident about. Then try to remember those feelings while you take care to prepare for the occasion to the best of your ability.
Smile and be Confident
Play the scenario in your head like a movie... try and imagine the details. What do you see, what do you hear, smell and feel? Practice it in your head, and then practice it for real - in front of the mirror. Imagine those people or that person is there, right in front of you, and see in your minds eye the positive outcome. See yourself be a success in that situation.
Now know that you have done everything to be prepared for that moment that you previously feared. Know that now you can walk into it with confidence and strength. You might still feel those butterflies in your stomach, but you'll know that you are well prepared and you can use that little bit of nervous energy in a positive way.
This is all part of having the Pizzazz Factor. Part of acting confident, so you can feel confident. Once you start seeing the results, this will snowball and you will be unstoppable.
Remember that confidence is magnetic, it draws people in to you, and if you're exuding optimism and strength, you will be remembered for those attributes. Hold your head up high, believe in yourself, stand tall and exude your Pizzazz Factor.
Kind regards
Vanessa Bader

Breathe to Magnetize
Saturday, 09 August 2008
Breath is the source of life. Without breathing we can't live. Breath ...oxygen is essential for our survival.
Walking around the top deck of the ship last night after my workout, there was the most unbelievable sunset - it was beautiful ... breathtaking... the air was cool and fresh. I became very aware of the fresh sea air I was breathing and how energized and alive I felt.
There is much more to breathing and oxygen than just keeping you alive. Deep and controlled breathing can ease your mind, calm your nerves and believe it or not - give you a magnetic presence - a grandeur presence...
Have you ever noticed that when you are feeling anxious or nervous, or even extremely excited your breathing becomes shallow, erratic and short? Your thoughts start racing and your mouth becomes dry. Sometimes it is hard to think straight when this happens - you lose your composure. You lose your Pizzazz!
Take a moment; take a deep breath or two. That will immediately calm you and allow you to think more rational and regain your composure. It will put you back in charge of your body and your mind within just a few of seconds.
Even if you are not nervous or anxious and you want to walk into a room and immediately draw every ones attention, you want to make an impression - try this. Walk into the room, and gauging the size of the room, take a breath the size of the room as if you want to breathe the room and everyone in it in. Fill up your lungs, your whole body from head to toe with the room and all that is in it.
This will give you a feeling of power, a feeling of grandeur and it will project your energy across the room.
Breath is energy, and energy is power! Breath, energy and power give you that unmistakable Pizzazz!
So, Breathe to Calm,
Breathe to Compose,
Breathe to Energize and Breathe to Magnetize!
